In a proactive move towards educational quality and student welfare, the District Collector of Siddipet conducted a surprise inspection at the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Doulthabad Mandal on Friday.
Collector Interacts Directly with Students
During his unexpected visit, the Collector walked into classrooms and interacted with several students. He asked whether the midday meals were tasty and if the hostel facilities were comfortable.
The students responded positively, stating that the meals were good and they were satisfied with the hostel arrangements.
Focus on Student Welfare and Education
Encouraging the girls to focus on their studies, the Collector advised them to report any issues or discomfort to their teachers without hesitation. He emphasized that every student deserves a supportive environment for learning.
Strengthening Accountability in Schools
The visit was part of a broader initiative to ensure transparency and accountability in government-run girls’ residential schools. Officials accompanying the Collector noted down feedback from the students and staff to improve future services.
