Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that true success of governance lies in the satisfaction of citizens with welfare schemes and public services. He emphasized that ministers, legislators, and officials must work with this goal in mind.
During a review meeting with ministers and top bureaucrats ahead of the upcoming *Collectors’ Conference on September 15 and 16, the CM directed all departments to focus on improving service delivery. He noted that the government is actively analyzing *public perception of welfare programs and citizen services.
Growth Target for Andhra Pradesh
Highlighting the state’s economic progress, Naidu said Andhra Pradesh registered a *10.5% growth rate in the first quarter of this year. He set a clear target of reaching a *Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of ₹29 lakh crore by 2029, urging officials to align their strategies with this vision.
Focus on Public-Centric Governance
Naidu stressed that transparent governance, timely services, and effective welfare implementation will shape people’s trust in the government. He urged ministers and officials to review the reach of schemes at the grassroots and ensure that no eligible citizen is left out.
Collectors’ Conference to Review Welfare Programs
The upcoming Collectors’ Conference will serve as a key platform to evaluate the impact of flagship programs and to discuss reforms in administration, revenue systems, education, healthcare, and rural development. The CM underlined that accountability and efficiency should be the guiding principles for every department.
Welfare and Development Go Hand-in-Hand
Chandrababu Naidu added that welfare must be integrated with long-term development to achieve sustainable growth for Andhra Pradesh. He stressed the need for digital governance, technology-driven service delivery, and policy innovation to improve public satisfaction levels.
