AP Cabinet Approves Free Cylinder Scheme, Launch Set for Diwali by CM Chandrababu

*Amaravati, October 17, 2024* – The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has given the green light to the much-anticipated free cylinders scheme, which will be rolled out across the state starting from Diwali. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to officially launch the program in Amaravati, marking a significant step in the government’s effort to ease the financial burden on households by providing free LPG cylinders.The scheme is expected to benefit millions of families across the state, offering them access to free cooking gas, thereby promoting cleaner and safer cooking practices.In addition to the free cylinder initiative, CM Chandrababu Naidu also directed officials to begin a massive pothole-filling campaign on state roads starting November 1. The Chief Minister emphasized that the road repairs should be treated as a priority and executed on a war footing to improve infrastructure and ensure smooth travel for citizens across Andhra Pradesh.These initiatives are part of the government’s broader agenda to enhance public welfare and infrastructure development, especially ahead of the festive season.
