**Vijayawada, September 24, 2024** — The Andhra Pradesh government will deposit financial aid directly into the accounts of flood victims tomorrow, providing much-needed relief to those affected by the recent floods. Beneficiaries under 179 secretariats in Vijayawada are expected to receive the assistance.The government will provide **₹25,000** to those whose ground-floor homes were submerged in the floods and **₹10,000** to residents living on the first and subsequent floors. In addition, those who suffered losses to their shops will receive **₹25,000**, while farmers will be compensated with **₹25,000 per hectare** for damaged crops.The relief package comes as part of a larger effort by the state government to support families and businesses impacted by the severe flooding. Earlier, the government had announced that **₹10,000** would be provided to households damaged in other parts of the state.This financial aid aims to help flood victims rebuild their lives and recover from the devastation caused by the recent floods, which left several areas waterlogged and caused extensive damage to property and livelihoods.The government’s quick response is expected to provide timely assistance to those in need, helping the flood-affected communities get back on their feet.
