*Hyderabad: September 14*Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi faces serious legal trouble following an alleged attack on the residence of fellow BRS MLAq Padi Kaushik Reddy in Gachibowli. Two separate cases have been filed against Gandhi, including charges of attempted murder and other offenses.According to the complaint by MLA Kaushik Reddy, tensions escalated after he criticized the election of the PAC Chairman and the disqualification of defected MLAs in a recent press conference. Gandhi, reportedly angered by these remarks, threatened retaliation.On the morning of September 12, Gandhi and a group of followers allegedly forced their way into the gated community where Kaushik Reddy lives. They reportedly vandalized the property, throwing stones, tomatoes, and eggs, damaging flower pots, and attempting to break into Reddy’s bedroom.As a result, a case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including criminal trespass, vandalism, and attempt to murder. Several members of Gandhi’s group are also named in the FIR for their involvement.In a related incident, a second complaint was filed by Sub-Inspector Mahesh Kumar Goud, alleging that Gandhi’s followers assaulted police officers stationed at the scene. The complaint details how Gandhi and his supporters arrived in a convoy of vehicles, forcibly entered the premises, and clashed with the police. This led to a separate case involving charges of assault on police officers and further criminal trespass.
