Bengaluru Police Seize 189 Stolen Phones and Laptops Worth ₹58.35 Lakh

Bengaluru: In a swift crackdown on property-related crimes, Bengaluru City Police have arrested several suspects in separate theft and robbery cases and recovered 189 mobile phones and laptops worth approximately ₹58.35 lakh, along with an auto-rickshaw allegedly used in one of the crimes.

In the Whitefield Police Station limits, police arrested a person allegedly involved in mobile phone theft. Officers recovered 130 mobile phones worth around ₹30 lakh and an auto-rickshaw allegedly used in the crime.

In a separate operation under the Electronic City Police Station limits, police arrested an out-of-state person allegedly involved in laptop theft. A total of 26 laptops belonging to various companies, valued at approximately ₹18 lakh, were recovered.

Meanwhile, in the RMC Yard Police Station limits, two suspects allegedly involved in mobile phone robbery were arrested. Police recovered 30 mobile phones of different brands worth around ₹5.85 lakh.

In the Bagalur Police Station limits, police arrested another individual allegedly involved in the theft of laptops and mobile phones. The recovery included three laptops and two mobile phones, collectively valued at approximately ₹4.5 lakh.

Police have urged citizens to remain vigilant, secure their valuable belongings and immediately report suspicious activities to the authorities.
