In response to recent tariff hikes by private telecom operators such as Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new prepaid recharge plan aimed at attracting more customers. The Rs. 397 plan offers 150 days of validity, providing users with 5 months of free calling, 2GB of data per day, and 100 SMS daily.This strategic move comes as private telecom companies significantly increase their rates, prompting many customers to seek more affordable options. Reports indicate that a substantial number of users have already switched to BSNL in light of these rising costs. The new plan is part of BSNL’s effort to capitalize on this trend and enhance its market presence by offering competitive and value-driven options.
