New Delhi | August 5: Amid speculation over the possibility of the CJP entering electoral politics, CJP leader Dipke said India needs strong public pressure to bring meaningful institutional reforms, describing the current political situation as “very weak.”
He claimed that the public has lost trust in the judiciary, the media, and the Election Commission, asserting that sustained public pressure is essential to restore confidence and bring change in these institutions.
Dipke also alleged that central investigative agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are being used to weaken and split political parties.
Reflecting on the CJP’s movement, he said its success was driven by widespread public support, adding that it was “a public movement” backed by people from all sections of society.
