CM Revanth Reddy Assures Real Estate Investors of ‘Future City’ Project, Promises Hyderabad as Global Hub

Hyderabad, August 16, 2025:

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has given strong assurances to real estate developers and investors, promising that his government is committed to building Hyderabad into a world-class global hub.

Speaking at a CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India) meeting, the Chief Minister addressed concerns raised by the real estate community. Developers have been hesitant after recent political changes, but Revanth Reddy urged them to have confidence in his government.

Revanth Reddy on Future City

The Chief Minister outlined his vision for “Future City”, an ambitious project that he wants associated with his leadership. “Just as people remember former leaders for their contributions, I want my name to be remembered for Future City,” he said.

He explained that his plan is not limited to the IT corridor or nearby areas but extends to creating a new urban ecosystem that attracts both domestic and global investors. By clarifying doubts and giving confidence to developers, Revanth emphasized that Hyderabad will continue to expand as a leading real estate and technology hub.

Concerns From Investors

Despite his assurances, some developers at the CREDAI meet expressed caution. They pointed out that the Future City master plan is still pending and progress appears slower than expected. Investors stressed that only after seeing concrete steps such as infrastructure development, clear policies, and quick decision-making, will they feel comfortable investing heavily.

Real estate is considered a sensitive and high-value investment. Developers say that without government clarity, projects risk delays and losses. This uncertainty has made many wait before making large financial commitments.

What’s Next?

Industry voices suggested that if the government can take decisive actions within the next two to three months, such as announcing the master plan and providing supporting infrastructure, confidence levels will rise significantly. This would encourage private players to come forward and make large-scale investments in Future City.
