In a sensational statement, the Congress party has rejected the results of the Haryana Assembly elections, alleging widespread tampering of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) during the counting process. Senior Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh and Abhishek Manu Singhvi expressed concerns over the functioning of EVMs in three districts of Haryana, accusing the BJP of manipulating the will of the people.The Congress leadership described the BJP’s victory as a distortion of public opinion, claiming that the election process was not conducted fairly. “There are serious doubts about the integrity of the voting process in key districts,” said Singhvi, adding that the party is considering further action to address the alleged irregularities.The BJP, however, has dismissed these allegations, maintaining that the elections were conducted in a transparent and fair manner. With these accusations, the political climate in Haryana has become charged, as Congress continues to challenge the outcome, seeking a thorough investigation into the election process.
