CP Radhakrishnan Wins Vice Presidential Election with Grand Majority

In a significant political victory, NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan has been elected as the new Vice President of India. He defeated the opposition’s joint nominee, Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy, by a comfortable margin.

Out of a total strength of 781 members, 768 MPs exercised their vote in the Vice Presidential polls. Members of the BRS, BJD, and Shiromani Akali Dal chose to abstain from voting.
