For the past few days, locals have reported several incidents of dogs indiscriminately attacking children, but their repeated pleas to the Kadapa Municipal Corporation have gone unanswered.In a particularly distressing incident, a young child was attacked by stray dogs while playing outside. The parents, shocked by the sudden attack, rushed their injured child to Kadapa RIMS Hospital for emergency treatment. The child sustained severe injuries to the face and leg due to the attack, leaving lasting scars both physically and emotionally.Despite this and other incidents, residents claim that the authorities have yet to take meaningful action to address the growing stray dog problem. The community remains anxious, with parents afraid to let their children play outside. Locals are now pleading with the Kadapa Corporation officials to respond urgently to the situation by taking necessary steps to control the stray dog population and ensure the safety of children in the area.
