Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh: Hundreds of students from Sarvodaya Inter College in Kishanpur town of Fatehpur district staged a protest today, demanding better educational infrastructure and basic amenities in their school. Carrying portraits of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the students marched on the streets and raised their concerns over the alleged neglect of essential facilities.
According to the students, the school has been facing serious issues for a long time, including poor cleanliness, damaged benches and desks, inadequate drinking water facilities, and unhygienic toilets. They alleged that despite repeatedly bringing these problems to the attention of the school administration, no effective action has been taken so far.
The protest highlighted the students’ demand for a safe and dignified learning environment. The demonstration also reflected growing awareness among young students about their educational rights and the need for improved facilities to ensure quality education.
Local authorities and the school administration are yet to issue an official response regarding the students’ allegations.
