According to IMD, the following districts are at higher risk of receiving intense showers today:

- Nalgonda
- Khammam
- Mahabubabad
- Bhadradri Kothagudem
- Ranga Reddy
- Mahabubnagar
- Wanaparthy
- Nagarkurnool
These regions are likely to receive *heavy to very heavy rainfall, particularly from evening into late night. Other districts may also experience *moderate to heavy rainfall during the same time window.

On *Thursday evening, Hyderabad city experienced a sudden cloudburst-like downpour, leading to *waterlogged roads and severe traffic congestion across major junctions. Several areas witnessed rainfall intense enough to resemble mini water bodies on streets, causing vehicles to stall and traffic to pile up for kilometers.
While today’s conditions are expected to be slightly better, *residents have been advised to complete essential travel or tasks before late evening. IMD forecasts **dry spells in most parts during the day, followed by *moderate to heavy rains during the evening and night hours.
