Tehran, August 25, 2025:
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has strongly rejected U.S. pressure, declaring that the Islamic Republic will not surrender under any circumstances. In a statement published on his official website, Khamenei urged allied nations to unite against what he called “American schemes to destabilize Iran.”
Khamenei’s Warning to the U.S. and Israel
Khamenei accused the United States of *orchestrating plots to weaken Iran’s sovereignty. He alleged that Washington, along with Israel, had carried out strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities earlier in June. *“Those attacks only pushed us toward decisive retaliation,” he said.
The Supreme Leader claimed that U.S. agents held a secret meeting in Europe immediately after Israel’s strikes, allegedly to discuss ways to undermine Iran’s leadership. “Their ultimate goal is to turn Iran into a submissive nation, but they will fail,” he declared.
A Call for Unity Among Partner Nations
Khamenei urged Iran’s regional and global partners to stand united against U.S. pressure campaigns. “All nations that oppose Washington’s dominance must come together and resist,” he emphasized.
He praised Iran’s army, government, and people for their resilience, adding that the world had witnessed Iran’s strength. According to him, this resistance had earned Tehran greater respect among several countries.
Domestic Strength and External Threats
The Iranian leader also cautioned that foreign powers might attempt to exploit internal divisions. He stressed the need for unity across political and social lines to prevent external manipulation.
“Our enemies hope to divide us, but they underestimate the determination of the Iranian nation,” Khamenei remarked.
Nuclear Talks with Europe
Meanwhile, Iran is scheduled to hold talks with Britain, France, and Germany on its nuclear program on Tuesday. Analysts believe Khamenei’s sharp comments come ahead of these discussions, signaling that Tehran will not compromise on its sovereignty despite Western demands.
