Kakinada Gym Trainer Murder: Friend Suspected of Killing Satish Reddy Over Alleged Affair
Kakinada, August 27, 2026: A 30-year-old gym trainer was allegedly murdered in Kakinada following a dispute involving a woman known to the accused and the victim.
The deceased has been identified as Kodamati Satish Reddy, who worked as a gym trainer in the city. The incident took place around 2 am on August 26 near Bhanugudi Centre, according to reports.
Police suspect Bandula Sai Kiran and his friends in connection with the murder. Initial reports point to a dispute involving an alleged relationship and personal disagreements.
Dispute Between Friends Turns Violent
Satish Reddy and Sai Kiran were reportedly friends for several years. A dispute allegedly developed after Sai Kiran suspected Satish of having a relationship with a woman close to him.
The issue reportedly led to repeated arguments between the two men. Satish’s wife, Jayashree, is also understood to have informed Sai Kiran about the alleged relationship.
The dispute escalated again during the early hours of Wednesday. Sai Kiran and some of his friends allegedly confronted Satish near Bhanugudi Centre.
During the confrontation, Satish was reportedly attacked with a wooden piece. The attack caused serious injuries, and he collapsed at the scene. Other reports said a sharp broken end of the wood was used during the assault.
Satish Reddy Dies at the Spot
Local people alerted the police after finding Satish seriously injured. Police reached the location and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.
However, he had already died from his injuries, reports said. The incident has caused shock in the Kakinada area.
Satish had reportedly married about a year ago. His wife Jayashree is currently pregnant, adding to the tragedy surrounding the incident.
Police Begin Investigation
The Kakinada II Town Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Officers are examining the circumstances that led to the confrontation and the sequence of events before the killing.
Police are also looking for Sai Kiran and the other suspected accused. Investigators are checking the alleged relationship angle along with possible financial disputes.
