**Bengaluru, Sep 21, 2024:** The Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lodged a formal complaint with the High Grounds Police Station against Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of making divisive and provocative remarks. The BJP claims that Gandhi’s statements were targeted at the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities, endangering India’s internal security, sovereignty, unity, and integrity.According to the BJP, the comments made by the Congress leader have the potential to create unrest and harm social harmony. The state BJP unit is calling for an investigation into the matter and has urged legal action to be taken against Gandhi for his remarks.The complaint follows the release of videos by the Karnataka BJP, which they allege show evidence of Gandhi’s provocative statements. Party officials have expressed concern that such remarks could inflame tensions and have a lasting impact on India’s social fabric.
