New Delhi, July 26Kavita, embroiled in the liquor scam case, faces prolonged judicial custody as her attempts for bail continue to be thwarted by the courts. The Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) finds herself disappointed yet again as the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi extended her judicial custody.The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have presented compelling evidence against Kavita, leading to repeated rejections of her bail pleas. Most recently, on July 22, the Rouse Avenue court heard Kavita’s petition seeking default bail in connection with the CBI case but adjourned the proceedings to August 5.
