Why This Matters

- This monsoon revival may improve kharif crop sowing, which is still behind schedule.
Safety Tips for Residents
- Avoid unnecessary travel on rainy days. Thunderstorms and lightning are frequent.
- Be cautious around flooded areas—especially near low-lying terrain, rivers, and tank bunds.
- Secure loose objects and stay away from unstable mud structures and vulnerable bridges.
- If you spot fallen trees, blocked roads, or flooding, report immediately to local emergency services.
- Always rely on the Dial 100 police helpline for urgent help.
