Students, backed by the *Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU), submitted a heartfelt petition on Monday urging District Collector *Kumar Deepak to release the long-pending pending fee dues for the Best Available Schools program.
In a statement delivered alongside the petition, Deputy Chief Minister Srikant emphasized that withholding half the funds over the past three years has severely impacted students from vulnerable families—trapping them in financial and social difficulties, and pushing many to drop out of school.
