Massive Cordon and Search Operation in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Allapur: 2,407 People Verified, Vehicles Seized

In a large-scale effort to improve public safety, Cyberabad Police launched an extensive cordon and search operation in *Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, under the jurisdiction of *Allapur Police Station in the *Kukatpally Division. The operation took place on Tuesday evening, from **5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, under the direct instructions of the *Cyberabad Commissioner of Police.

Purpose of the Operation

The mission aimed to verify the identities of residents, identify suspicious elements, and ensure law and order in the region. It also focused on traffic enforcement and criminal tracking.

Key Highlights:

  • 943 families were covered.
  • 2,407 individuals were verified.
  • 200 vehicles were checked.
  • 82 challans were issued.
  • ₹44,000 collected in penalties.
  • 7 two-wheelers were seized.

Traffic Enforcement Action:

The traffic team played a critical role in the drive. Out of the 200 vehicles checked:

  • 82 were fined for rule violations.
  • ₹44,000 was collected in total.
  • 7 vehicles were impounded due to lack of documents or other offenses.
