Top Telangana ministers have firmly rejected allegations made by BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is involved in unauthorized *phone tapping activities. Deputy Chief Minister **Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with cabinet ministers *Uttam Kumar Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, held a press briefing to address the claims.
The ministers called the accusations *baseless and politically motivated, emphasizing that the Congress-led state government has *not authorized any form of illegal surveillance.
“No Phones Are Being Tapped,” Say Ministers
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy clarified that the current government has no interest in secretly monitoring phone conversations and stated, “There are no secrets in our government that need to be heard through wiretapping.” He further urged KTR to submit any evidence he may have instead of making vague accusations in public.
Criticism Over Derogatory Language
The ministers also condemned KTR’s use of offensive language while referring to the Chief Minister. “Such behavior is unbecoming of a senior political leader,” said Bhatti Vikramarka, calling for more dignified discourse in public debates.
Reaffirmation of Leadership
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy stated that there is no internal contest for the Chief Minister’s position. “CM Revanth Reddy will continue to lead the government for the next three years without question,” he assured.
