Satish Kumar, a Municipal Assistant Engineer in Peddapalli, while accepting a ₹2 lakh bribe. The bribe was reportedly demanded for processing the final bill related to work carried out at a Hindu graveyard.Following the trap, ACB officials conducted searches at the accused officer’s residence, where they reportedly recovered ₹32 lakh in cash, along with documents related to assets and other materials.The incident has sparked fresh concerns over corruption in public works, with many questioning how much illegal money may have been collected over the years if such a large amount of cash was found during the raid.The ACB investigation is currently underway, and further action will be taken based on the findings.
