PM Modi Says India-Russia Cooperation Reaching New Heights During Putin Meeting
Bishkek: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, Modi highlighted the steady growth of ties between the two countries.
“India-Russia cooperation is reaching new heights,” the Prime Minister said while underlining the importance of the long-standing partnership.
The two leaders reviewed the progress of their Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
Their discussions covered several key sectors. These included trade, investment, defence, energy, space and people-to-people ties.
