Rajampet MP Advocates for Railway Infrastructure Improvements in Meeting with Railway Minister

Rajampet MP Shri PV Midhun Reddy, who also serves as the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Floor Leader in the Lok Sabha, along with Party MPs Dr. Gurumurthy and Dr. Tanuja Rani, met with Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav today. The key focus of the meeting was the expedited completion of the Kadapa-Bangalore railway line.MP Midhun Reddy emphasized the significance of this railway line, highlighting its potential to enhance connectivity between major cities including Peeleru, Punganur, and Madanapalle. He urged the Minister to prioritize and accelerate the completion of this crucial infrastructure project.Additionally, the delegation requested the utilization of the existing loco shed facilities in Nandalur, located within Rajampet Constituency, and the preservation of railway lands and assets at Nandalur Railway Station, which has a storied 130-year history. They also advocated for the restoration of railway stops that had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the overall development of railway stations in the region.The meeting underscored the MPs’ commitment to improving railway infrastructure and services for the benefit of their constituencies.
