Samajwadi Party Chhatra Sabha Adopts Blue T-Shirt and Jeans as New Dress Code
Lucknow, September 8, 2026: The Samajwadi Party has introduced a new dress code for its student wing, the Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, with members set to wear blue T-shirts and blue jeans.
The move marks a visible shift from the party’s traditional red-and-green identity. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said the change reflects the thinking and style of a new generation.
“The new generation has a new way of thinking. Therefore, there should also be a new uniform,” Akhilesh Yadav said.
He added that Chhatra Sabha workers would use the new attire while reaching out to students and young people.
“With the new uniform of blue T-shirt and jeans, our Chhatra Sabha workers will go among students and youth and connect them with the party,” he said.
