Yashwant, Amulya’s younger brother, had recently completed his B.Tech and was staying at the hostel while looking for a job. He helped Srikanth with running the hostel operations.However, Srikanth had secretly fallen deep into addiction, accumulating debts of over Rs. 4 crores due to his obsession with online gaming and other vices. Desperate to resolve his financial crisis, Srikanth’s eyes turned toward the wealth of his in-laws. Realizing that Yashwant stood to inherit the family property, Srikanth devised a plan to kill him and frame it as a suicide, hoping to eventually seize control of the assets.On the day of the crime, Srikanth executed his plan with shocking confidence, murdering Yashwant in the hostel and then staging the scene to make it look like a suicide.
