Survey of Digital Cards Begins Today: Joint District Selected for Pilot Project

*October 3, 2024 – Mahbubnagar* A comprehensive survey for the implementation of digital cards begins today across select mandals in the joint district, marking the start of a pilot project aimed at collecting detailed information about families and individuals. The district officials and staff were briefed on the survey process in the presence of district collectors to ensure smooth execution.As part of the project, 12 Gram Panchayats and 8 municipal wards have been chosen for the initial phase of data collection. Depending on the population in each village and municipality, 2 to 6 teams will be formed in every selected ward to gather details. By Thursday morning, further clarity is expected on whether separate photographs of individuals as well as group photos of family members will be taken during the survey.**Details of the Pilot Project**Under this pilot project, several village panchayats and municipalities across the district have been selected to collect data from all assembly constituencies. The areas chosen include:- **Mahbubnagar District:** Madaram in Hanwada Mandal, Alwanpally in Jadcharla Mandal, Sitarampet in Chinnachintakunta Mandal, Ward 37 in Mahbubnagar Municipality, Ward 24 in Jadcharla, and Ward 9 in Bhutpur Municipality. – **Narayanapet District:** Ayyavaripalle in Damaragidda Mandal, Muktipadu in Kosgi Mandal, Kothapalli in Ootkuru Mandal, and Ward 15 of Narayanapet Municipality. – **Jogulamba Gadwala District:** Ryalampadu in Alampur Mandal, Mailagadda in KT Doddi Mandal, Ward 3 in Aiza Municipality, and Ward 9 in Gadwala Municipality. – **Nagar Kurnool District:** Boyapur in Bijinapalli Mandal, Brahmanapalli in Achampeta Mandal, Devineni Palli in Pedda Kothapalli Mandal, and Ward 10 of Kalwakurti Municipality. – **Wanaparthy District:** Anjanagiri Gram Panchayat and Ward 10 of Wanaparthy Municipality.The survey teams will collect information on family members, including names, ages, and photographs, to create a centralized digital card system. This initiative is expected to improve access to public services and streamline administrative processes in the district.
