Telangana Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy emphasized that the state government is committed to creating a *business-friendly ecosystem for industries. Speaking at the inauguration of global pharma leader *Eli Lilly and Company’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, he highlighted Telangana’s rapid rise as a global innovation hub.
Over the past *20 months of the Praja Palana government, Hyderabad has transformed into a **preferred destination for Global Capability Centers, the Chief Minister stated. The launch event was held in the presence of *IT and Industries Minister Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with top executives from Eli Lilly.
Hyderabad Becomes a Global Hub for Life Sciences
CM Revanth Reddy described this development as a *milestone in Telangana’s life sciences journey. Telangana aims to become the *world leader in industrial and scientific innovation, and Hyderabad’s evolution as a GCC hub is a powerful example of this vision, he noted.
He extended special congratulations to Minister Sridhar Babu and relevant department officials for playing a vital role in this success.
3 Trillion-Dollar Vision by 2047
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the state’s ambition to *build a \$3 trillion economy by 2047. He expressed pride over Hyderabad attracting world-class firms like Eli Lilly. Today, the city is home to *over 2,000 life sciences companies and more than 200 international firms.
He added that *one out of every three vaccines produced in India comes from Hyderabad, reinforcing its position as a pharmaceutical powerhouse. The *Genome Valley stands as India’s largest life sciences R\&D hub, symbolizing the city’s strength in talent, policy, and infrastructure.
Eli Lilly’s Impact in Healthcare Innovation
Eli Lilly’s focus on diabetes, cancer, immunology, and neuroscience will act as a game-changer for the global healthcare ecosystem. CM Revanth Reddy assured continued support to such groundbreaking endeavors. Telangana, he said, remains committed to providing world-class infrastructure, transparent governance, and skilled manpower for industry leaders.
The Chief Minister welcomed Eli Lilly employees to Telangana, saying they are now part of the state’s extended family.
