**Hyderabad, September 24, 2024** — In a major initiative aimed at boosting employment opportunities, the Telangana state government has launched a skill training program for engineering and degree students in the banking, finance, services, and insurance (BFSI) sectors. The program, a first-of-its-kind in the country, will provide training to **10,000 students** this year.Chief Minister **Revanth Reddy** is set to inaugurate the program tomorrow, marking a significant step toward addressing the skill gap in critical sectors. The initiative will be implemented across **18 engineering colleges** and **20 degree colleges** in the state, ensuring that students receive specialized training that aligns with industry requirements.Students who complete the program will receive a **certificate**, along with opportunities for **internships** and **job placements**.
