Hyderabad, July 25: Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Saturday launched a dedicated Indiramma Towers Call Centre Helpline (040-24603572) at the Housing Board office to address public queries regarding the Indiramma Housing Scheme in Hyderabad’s Core Urban Region (CURE).
The Minister said the helpline has been established to provide authentic information on eligibility, application procedures, payments, document requirements, and allotment, while preventing misinformation and middlemen from misleading applicants. Citizens can contact the helpline between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with assistance available in Telugu, Hindi, English, and Urdu.
The Telangana Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has initiated the construction of one lakh Indiramma houses within the CURE limits. In the first phase, construction of 7,680 housing units across 16 Assembly constituencies has commenced.
Key Highlights of the Scheme
Applicants must have been residing within the CURE limits for at least 10 years.Annual family income should not exceed ₹6 lakh.Only one application per family and one flat per eligible family will be accepted.Applicants or their family members must not own a house, flat, or plot within ORR/CURE limits.Only Aadhaar is required while submitting the application; caste, income, or salary certificates are not required at the application stage.The ₹10,000 Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) must be paid only through UPI or Net Banking.If an applicant is not allotted a flat, the entire ₹10,000 EMD will be refunded to the same bank account used for payment.
The Minister stated that applications can be submitted through Mee Seva Centres, the official online portal, or WhatsApp, and urged citizens to avoid relying on unofficial sources or intermediaries.
Applications will undergo digital verification, field inspection, and document scrutiny. If eligible applications exceed the number of available flats, allotments will be made through a transparent lottery system.
Each apartment will have 1 Bedroom, Hall, and Kitchen (1BHK) with a built-up area of approximately 525 sq. ft. While the market value of each flat is estimated between ₹40 lakh and ₹60 lakh, the Government will provide a ₹5 lakh subsidy and register an undivided land share of 20–25 square yards in the beneficiary’s name. Beneficiaries will be required to contribute ₹6 lakh towards the housing unit.
