**Narayanpet, Vikarabad District, Telangana** – Tension gripped Narayanpet town on Wednesday evening after a clash erupted between two communities over the placement of a flag at the old bus stand junction. The unrest began when some youth from the Muslim community erected a flag at the location. Members of another community removed the flag and threw it onto the road, sparking a heated argument.As tensions escalated, people from both communities gathered in large numbers, raising concerns about potential violence. Local police responded swiftly, resorting to a mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd and prevent further unrest. Additional police reinforcements were rushed to the scene, while senior police officials from Hyderabad closely monitored the situation to ensure it did not spiral out of control.In light of the sensitive atmosphere, Muslim groups in Telangana postponed planned rallies that were initially scheduled for Wednesday in deference to the ongoing Ganesh Nimarjan festivities.
