Three Soldiers Killed, Four Injured in Arunachal Pradesh Road Accident

**Itanagar, August 28 ** — In a tragic incident on Tuesday, three Indian Army personnel were killed and four others injured when their truck plunged into a deep gorge in Upper Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh.According to a police official in Itanagar, the accident occurred when the truck carrying the soldiers veered off the road and fell into the gorge. All three soldiers, identified as Havaldar Nakhat Singh, Naik Mukesh Kumar, and Grenadier Ashish, died at the scene. The injured soldiers were promptly rescued and are receiving medical attention.The Army’s Eastern Command has expressed deep sorrow over the loss. In a statement posted on their X handle, Lt Gen RC Tiwari, Army Commander Eastern Command, and all ranks conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased soldiers. The statement read: “We express our deepest condolences on the sad demise of bravehearts Hav Nakhat Singh, Nk Mukesh Kumar, and Gdr Ashish who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in Arunachal Pradesh.
