*September 18, 2024*The Central Government has announced the allotment of trainee Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This allocation marks a significant step in reinforcing the regional law enforcement framework.For Andhra Pradesh, the trainees assigned include Diksha from Haryana, Boddu Hemanth, and Manisha Vangala Reddy, both from Andhra Pradesh, alongside Sushmita from Tamil Nadu. In Telangana, the allocated trainees are Manan Bhatt from Jammu and Kashmir, Sai Kiran and Rutvik Sai Kotte from Telangana, and Yadav Vasundhara from Uttar Pradesh.A notable event, the IPS Deekshanth parade, is scheduled to take place at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy on September 20, 2024. This parade will showcase the trainees’ induction into their roles and mark their entry into the prestigious IPS cadre.The allotment is expected to enhance the policing capabilities in both states, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise to local law enforcement agencies.
