Volunteers’ Association Threatens to Besiege CM’s Camp Office Over Unresolved Demands

*Andhra Pradesh:* Tensions are mounting as the Volunteers’ Association, led by its Honorary President, Eshwarayya, has announced plans to besiege the Chief Minister’s camp office if their demands are not addressed in the upcoming cabinet meeting. During the most recent cabinet session, no decision was made regarding the grievances of volunteers, causing unrest within the association. Eshwarayya, expressing his dissatisfaction, accused the coalition government of betraying volunteers for the past 100 days.“We have been patient, but the government continues to ignore our issues,” said Eshwarayya. He further revealed that from the 2nd to the 26th of next month, volunteers will stage peaceful and creative protests. These protests will escalate if the government fails to take action in the next cabinet meeting. The volunteers have been seeking clarity on their roles, benefits, and job security, a matter that has been pending for several months. As the agitation builds momentum, the government faces increasing pressure to address the concerns of one of its largest support bases. The possibility of a siege at the CM’s camp office poses a significant political challenge for the state leadership, with many awaiting the government’s response in the coming weeks.
