Young Woman in Hyderabad Alleges Boyfriend Threatened to Leak Nude Photos After Fake Marriage Promises

Hyderabad, September13, 2025:

A 26-year-old woman has filed a complaint with the S.R. Nagar police in Hyderabad, alleging deception, threats, and emotional trauma at the hands of her boyfriend. According to her, the man first gained her trust with promises of love, marriage, and a future together — only to betray her later.

The young woman, who works as a manager at an insurance company in Begumpet and hails from Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh, says she first met the accused in 2021 during her MSc studies in Rajamahendravaram. At that time, he was employed in the interior design department of a private firm. Their acquaintance grew via Instagram after she accepted his friend request, and eventually developed into a romantic relationship.

Over time, the man assured her that they would marry. The two would meet often at a hotel in S.R. Nagar, Hyderabad. When she became pregnant in 2022, she alleges he forced her to abort the pregnancy. Yet even after that, when she asked him to formalize their relationship through marriage, he laid down conditions: blocked her phone number and social media accounts, distanced himself, and declined all contact.

Adding to her distress, she alleges that he began threatening her with exposure: saying he would post her nude photos — pictures he took when she was alone and believed safe with him — on social media. The threats, she claims, have caused her immense fear and anxiety.

She finally approached the S.R. Nagar police station with all this information. An FIR has been lodged and the police are investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the woman demands justice and seeks protection from further harassment.
