Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to initiate the prestigious NTR Smritivanam project at Amaravati’s Neerukonda. He said the project should reflect the *pride, confidence, and cultural identity of Telugu people, making it a true symbol of *Telugu Vaibhavam.
During a review meeting on the proposed statue of *Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), Naidu emphasized that the project must highlight the *rich Telugu culture, traditions, language, literature, art, and ancient history.
Honoring Telugu Icons and Heritage
The CM instructed that the memorial should not only honor NTR but also celebrate the lives of *great Telugu icons such as Alluri Sitarama Raju and Potti Sriramulu. Statues, exhibits, and installations will narrate their contributions, alongside displays showcasing the evolution of *Telugu language, script, and cultural traditions.
A Cultural Landmark in Amaravati
Planned near Neerukonda in Amaravati, the project is expected to become a cultural landmark that will attract scholars, tourists, and Telugu communities from across the world. Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the design elements and facilities that will be part of the upcoming project.

Chandrababu Naidu stressed that NTR Smritivanam should serve as an educational and inspirational hub, instilling a sense of pride among future generations about the glorious past and values of Telugu civilization.
