Senior BRS leader and former Telangana minister T. Harish Rao paid rich tributes to *revolutionary tribal leader Komaram Bheem, recalling his lifelong struggle for the *rights and dignity of Adivasis.
Speaking on the occasion of *Komaram Bheem Jayanti, Harish Rao said the freedom fighter’s spirit continues to inspire movements for *justice, equality, and self-respect among tribal communities. He emphasized that Bheem’s ideals remain deeply relevant in the fight for social and political empowerment of the marginalized.
Harish Rao lauded former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for honoring Komaram Bheem’s legacy by developing Jodeghat as a memorial site and constructing a dedicated Komaram Bheem Memorial Building in Hyderabad. He said these initiatives reflect the BRS government’s commitment to preserving Adivasi pride and history.
He called upon the youth and community leaders to follow in Komaram Bheem’s footsteps and continue the mission of protecting tribal lands, culture, and constitutional rights.
