Hyderabad | August 5: Telangana Police has launched the Next-Generation Telangana Emergency Response Support System (TG-ERSS) – Dial 112, an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled emergency response platform aimed at delivering faster, smarter, and more coordinated emergency services across the state.
The upgraded system was inaugurated by C. V. Anand at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGiCCC) in Hyderabad in the presence of senior police officials and government representatives.
The new AI-powered platform integrates Police, Fire Services, Ambulance, Women Safety, Child Protection, Disaster Response, and other emergency services under the single national emergency number 112.

The upgraded system has significantly improved efficiency, reducing overall call processing time from 190 seconds to 133 seconds, nearly a 30% improvement.

The TG-ERSS operates 24×7 with 164 trained personnel and 900 SIP-based communication channels, handling nearly 14 lakh IVR calls, 18,000 emergency calls, and dispatching around 7,500 emergency incidents every day.
A total of 1,860 patrol vehicles have been digitally integrated into the platform, enabling automatic identification and dispatch of the nearest available patrol vehicle.
As part of the next phase, Telangana Police will pilot AI-enabled drones in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri, and Future City Commissionerates to assist in fires, accidents, disasters, crowd management, search-and-rescue operations, and law-and-order situations.
The DGP urged citizens to remember Dial 112 as the single emergency number for Police, Fire, Ambulance, and all emergency services, emphasizing that every second saved can help protect lives and strengthen public trust.
