A family dispute involving Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud has come into the spotlight after his son, Santosh Goud, made a series of allegations against his father during a media interaction.
Santosh Goud alleged that attempts were made to stop his love marriage and claimed that he, along with those supporting him, was attacked. He said pressure on his family increased after he decided to marry Rupa Reddy’s daughter.
According to Santosh Goud, a group of people allegedly created a disturbance at Rupa Reddy’s residence in Manikonda, claiming his father was behind the incident. He further alleged that despite informing Dial-100 after an attack on their house, the police did not properly register their complaint.
He also accused the Narsingi Police of filing false cases against them under political influence and claimed that he and his supporters were facing threats after speaking to the media.
Rupa Reddy also alleged that attempts were being made to implicate her in criminal cases and send her to jail. She described the developments as part of a pre-planned conspiracy.
