Kavitha Breaks Down in Tears at Nizamabad Sabha, Questions Her Exit From BRS
Nizamabad, August 31, 2026: Telangana Rakshana Sena president K. Kavitha became emotional during the party’s Panchajanya Sankalpa Sabha in Nizamabad on Monday.
Kavitha broke down while speaking about her exit from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). She questioned why she was removed from the party despite standing by it during difficult times.
“Why did they send me out of the party?” Kavitha asked emotionally.
She said people should not mistake her tears for weakness. Kavitha explained that she was overwhelmed because she had returned to her own home turf.
“I am not a coward,” she said. “I cannot stop my tears because I have come back to my own land.”
Her emotional remarks drew a strong response from supporters at the gathering. Party workers reportedly raised slogans in her support.
Kavitha says she formed party with determination
Kavitha also spoke about her decision to launch the Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS). She said she took the step with determination after facing political challenges.
The party was founded by Kavitha on April 25, 2026. Monday’s Nizamabad meeting marked her first major visit to the district after launching the new political outfit.
The Panchajanya Sankalpa Sabha was organised at the Old Collectorate Grounds in Nizamabad. The event was aimed at presenting the party’s political roadmap and strengthening its presence across Telangana.
Focus on a new political force in Telangana
Kavitha said Telangana needs a new political force to address public issues. She also appealed to people to give her party an opportunity in the upcoming elections.
The Telangana Rakshana Sena has highlighted free education, free healthcare, employment, agriculture and social justice among its key priorities.
The Nizamabad meeting is being viewed as an important step in Kavitha’s efforts to build the Telangana Rakshana Sena at the grassroots level.
