*Hyderabad, September 23, 2024* – In a generous gesture to support flood victims in Telangana, Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu has donated Rs. 50 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Accompanied by his wife Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh Babu personally visited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s residence in Jubilee Hills on Monday morning to hand over the donation.This contribution adds to the growing list of donations from the Telugu film fraternity, with actors such as Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Vishwak Sen, and Sai Dharam Tej already contributing towards the relief efforts. In addition to the Rs. 50 lakh personal donation, Mahesh Babu’s family-owned multiplex, AMB Cinemas, contributed an additional Rs. 10 lakhs, taking the total contribution to Rs. 60 lakhs.The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for the actor’s support, acknowledging the significant role celebrities are playing in aiding flood relief efforts.
