Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has embarked on a crucial political trip to New Delhi, where he is set to meet several senior BJP leaders as part of his official engagements. His visit gains prominence amidst key political developments in the Telugu states.
Chandrababu Naidu’s Delhi Schedule Today
According to the latest itinerary:
- At *2:30 PM, CM Chandrababu will hold a meeting with *CR Patil, the BJP national president.
- This will be followed by a 4:30 PM meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, to reportedly discuss pending financial dues, state development projects, and ongoing funding for the Polavaram project.
- Post these meetings, the CM will stay overnight in Delhi, where he is expected to continue informal consultations with central leaders and bureaucrats.
Nandyal Visit Tomorrow – HNSS Water Release
After wrapping up his Delhi tour, CM Chandrababu Naidu will fly to Nandyal district tomorrow morning. His agenda includes a significant developmental milestone:
- Release of water from the Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) project, a long-pending demand from the farmers in the region.
- Following the water release, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to interact with local farmers and assess irrigation-related challenges on the ground.
Significance of These Meetings
This visit marks CM Naidu’s first formal set of meetings with top central BJP leaders after resuming office in 2024. Political analysts believe the discussions will center around:
