**Hyderabad, November 7** – Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced that any changes to reservation quotas will be considered only after the results of an upcoming comprehensive family survey, known as *Kulasarve*, are analyzed. Speaking to the media at Praja Bhavan, Hyderabad, on Wednesday, he emphasized the need for public participation in this survey to ensure accurate and inclusive data collection.Starting November 9, officials will conduct a door-to-door survey across Telangana. Stickers with house numbers and the names of family heads will be affixed to each residence. Deputy CM Bhatti urged all households to keep essential documents such as Aadhaar cards, ration cards, and passbooks readily available. The Deputy CM clarified that a ration card or ownership of a house is not a definitive measure for determining family status. “There may be multiple families living under the same roof,” he noted. Even if family members were registered on the same ration card in the past, they could now register as separate households if they wish to do so.This extensive family survey is anticipated to provide the government with valuable insights into the socio-economic structure of families, enabling a data-driven approach for adjustments to reservation policies.
