Telangana Transforms MeeSeva Centres into Digital Advertising Hubs to Empower Small Businesses

Hyderabad: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Government of Telangana has transformed MeeSeva Centres into Digital Advertising Hubs, enabling small businesses across the state to access affordable digital marketing services. The initiative has been launched by Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) – MeeSeva with the support of Meta.

More than 150 MeeSeva Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) from the CURE area were trained in Hyderabad to create and manage digital advertisements on Meta platforms. The training covered advertisement design, promotional content creation, audience targeting and digital campaign management

The programme was attended by Sri T. Ravi Kiran, IFS, Commissioner, ESD (MeeSeva), along with representatives from Meta. The initiative also creates a new source of income for MeeSeva operators by offering digital advertising as a value-added service.

Businesses of all sizes—including kirana stores, fruit and sweet shops, restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals, schools, salons, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, startups, MSMEs and large enterprises—can now visit their nearest MeeSeva Centre to create professional advertisements and promote their products and services on Meta platforms.

MeeSeva operators will assist businesses in designing advertisements, selecting the right target audience and launching campaigns, helping them improve visibility, attract more customers and grow at affordable costs.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri T. Ravi Kiran, IFS, said the collaboration reflects the Telangana Government’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through technology. By combining Meta’s digital advertising expertise with MeeSeva’s extensive network, the initiative brings professional digital marketing within the reach of small and rural businesses.

Launched under the leadership of IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, the initiative expands MeeSeva’s role beyond citizen services by supporting entrepreneurship, strengthening small and medium businesses, creating livelihood opportunities for VLEs and contributing to Telangana’s growing digital economy.
