Four Cybercriminals Arrested in Mancherial District, Telangana

In a major breakthrough against cybercrime, Mancherial district police arrested four individuals involved in online fraud operations. The arrests took place in Jannaram mandal headquarters, where the accused were caught during a targeted police operation.

According to Mancherial ACP Prakash, the accused — identified as Jayavardhan, Simhadri, Jagadish, and Teja, all hailing from Andhra Pradesh — were taken into custody and produced before the court. The arrests come just days after three other suspects were nabbed on July 30 in connection with the same cybercrime case and were sent to judicial remand.

Police sources revealed that the group was involved in fraudulent online activities targeting unsuspecting victims across states. Further investigation is underway to trace their network and identify additional victims.

ACP Prakash appreciated the efforts of Luxettipet CI Ramanamurthy and SIs Suresh, Taisuddin, and Anusha, whose coordinated work led to the swift capture of the criminals. Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant against suspicious online transactions and report cybercrime incidents via the **National Cyber Crime Portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in).
