A Hyderabad-based family met with a tragic road accident near St. Francis in the United States, claiming the lives of three family members.
Dr. Sheikh Abdul Naveed (47), a native of Vani Nagar in Saidabad, Hyderabad, and a Director at pharmaceutical company Merck, was involved in the accident along with his family.
His wife, Nazeya Salma (45), daughter Nihayeen Sheikh (19), and son Umar Sheikh (14) died in the crash.Dr. Naveed and his five-year-old daughter, Khadeeja, sustained critical injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital. Their condition is reported to be serious.
Authorities in the United States have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
The heartbreaking incident has left relatives, friends, and residents of Vani Nagar in Hyderabad in deep shock and mourning.
