A deeply disturbing case of child sexual abuse has emerged from Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills, where a father has been accused of sexually assaulting his four-year-old daughter.
According to police, the incident came to light when the child’s mother noticed sudden changes in her daughter’s behavior. Concerned, she questioned the child, who revealed that her father, identified as Afan, had allegedly committed the assault about a month ago when no one else was at home.
Medical evaluations, including an examination by a psychiatrist, confirmed that the behavioral changes were consistent with trauma caused by sexual abuse. Following the mother’s formal complaint, the Banjara Hills police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and have taken the accused into custody.
