*Hyderabad, September 29, 2024*: Prabhudas, the principal of Victoria Memorial Home Residential School in Kothapet, Hyderabad, has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for accepting a bribe related to a food contract. In addition to corruption charges, serious accusations have surfaced regarding his alleged misbehavior with orphaned girls at the school.The ACB launched an investigation into Prabhudas after receiving complaints about irregularities in the school’s food contract. Acting on a tip-off, officials caught him red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs. 29,000 from a contractor. This arrest has sparked outrage, with many condemning his actions not only as corrupt but also morally reprehensible.ACB officials later conducted a search of Prabhudas’s residence in Uppal to gather further evidence of illegal assets. If any unaccounted wealth is discovered, additional charges will be filed against him. Meanwhile, disturbing reports have emerged accusing Prabhudas of inappropriate behavior toward the orphaned girls under his care, further deepening the scandal.There are also allegations of financial misconduct, with claims that Prabhudas embezzled school funds and manipulated tender processes for personal gain.
