Indiramma Housing Scheme: Construction Must Begin Before August 1 or Allotment Will Be Cancelled, Warns Minister Ponnam Prabhakar

Telangana Civil Supplies Minister Ponnam Prabhakar issued a strong warning to beneficiaries of the *Indiramma Housing Scheme, stating that those who fail to begin construction of their allotted homes by *August 1, 2025, risk losing their housing allotment altogether.

Speaking during his visit to Bheemdevarapalli and Elkathurthi villages under Husnabad constituency in Saidapur Mandal, Karimnagar district, the Minister emphasized the importance of timely initiation of house construction by eligible beneficiaries.

“Those who have been sanctioned houses under the Indiramma scheme must begin construction, at the very least by laying the foundation or performing the traditional ‘muggu’ marking before the deadline. Otherwise, the sanction may be revoked,” he stated.
